Howdy to all members and sorry for such short notice, which will be explained in this email, but we are hosting our annual Spring Fish Fry next Wednesday, April 23rd at the Banquet & Event Center.
For those that were there last year, we were treated to an amazing performance by the Strong family featuring Rebecca Strong who was at the time competing in the Canada's Got Talent competition. We all know, she went on to win and as promised they are returning this year for an encore performance. Rebecca will speak and do a set on her own.
Cocktails are starting at 6:00PM, Dinner is slated for 6:30PM and the show will commence at 7:30PM.
CORPORATE MEMBERS: You all have 2 tickets included in your membership but you must claim them to attend. Please reach out via email, text or phone call to me to claim your 2 seats and purchase additional tickets if you want them.
REGULAR MEMBERS: Tickets for this event are $65.00. To help you understand why they must be priced at that level, please know that the wholesale cost of this meal exceeds $40.00 per person. There are several other costs we incur besides the meal including the entertainment, and despite the fact that in the past we have tried having this event be a fundraiser for the club, this year's event is priced at a cost recovery point.
The menu consists of fresh Walleye, ribs, potatoes and all the fixings topped with an amazing desert assortment catered by one of our catering partners Randy Whitter from MyPlace Catering.
We know several regulars have specific dietary restrictions and you folks are all being looked after.
Lights and sound are being donated by our friend Jeff Lake, owner of Spectrum Sound. he's always there for us.

A quick explanation of the short notice. Rebecca Strong is in very high demand. Her availability is very limited, but also in this case exceptions were required with her Management Company to be able to do this performance, outside of her contracts. We couldn't afford her if not for that.
Also, there have been some changes in ownership and management with our supplier of the fresh fish. We only confirmed we could get enough fish today. So again, I apologize for the very short notice, however it truly was out of my control.
Corporate Members who still owe their fees for this year can bring along a check to the Fish Fry.
This is going to be an amazing evening. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
